Emberfall Legacy

Emberfall Legacy is the kind of RPG that respects your time while still giving you plenty to sink into. You build a party of four, each with distinct skill trees, and the turn-based fights reward planning over button-mashing. Positioning actually matters, which is rare on mobile.

The writing is better than it needs to be. NPCs remember choices you made hours earlier, and a couple of side quests genuinely made us pause before deciding. Crafting starts simple but opens up into something you'll happily lose an evening to once you find the rarer materials.

Performance held up well even on our older test device, with only a couple of longer loads between zones. If you want a proper RPG you can play in bed or on a commute, this is an easy recommendation.
